This is such a lush and beautiful album that really takes the listener on an epic journey from the soundscapes in tracks like Borealis to the uplifting and thoughtful vocals in Phoenix and September Kids. Really superb.

I'm sure this record sounds really dated nowadays with some of the synth choices, the radio intros that are becoming more common, and especially the mix/master, but this was really something for its time. I remember first hearing the title track and enjoying the composition so much. Dimi's ambition and fun with this project come in his brand of Outrun that meshes itself with the Instrumental Rock of the 80's, Joe Satriani and Steve Vai come to mind. A Synthwave classic!
